- Quilting cotton by the yard, precuts (fat quarters, jelly rolls, charm packs), batting, thread, patterns, notions and often sewing machines. Many run classes and offer longarm quilting services.
- How much does quilting fabric cost?
- Quality quilting cotton runs $10–$16 per yard at local shops. Sales, remnant bins and end-of-bolt cuts can drop that by half.
- What is longarm quilting?
- Finishing a quilt on a large frame machine — you bring the pieced top, the shop quilts the three layers together. Pricing is usually by the square inch, from about 2 to 5 cents depending on the pattern.
